David Mahjoubi, MD
Medical Director / Anesthesiologist
Dr. Mahjoubi is the Medical Director at the Ketamine Healing Clinic of Los Angeles. He is in the clinic seeing patients before and after every infusion the majority of each month, and all new patients see him first. You can learn more about Dr. Mahjoubi here.
Kolleen P., CRNA
Kolleen graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and worked at Sharp Memorial Hospital for eight years, as a registered nurse. Inspired to specialize in anesthesia, she went on to receive a master’s degree from California State University, Fullerton, and received training as a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) with the Kaiser Permanente School of Anesthesia in Los Angeles. Clinical rotations for this training program were diverse and included the Navy Medical Center San Diego, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, and Riverside County Hospital. She has been certified and licensed by the Board of Nursing as an independent anesthesia provider since 2010. Kolleen has been trained by Dr. Mahjoubi in the Advanced Personalized Ketamine Protocol, and works at the Ketamine Healing Clinic of Los Angeles four days per month.
Previous positions as a CRNA were held at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle and Kaiser Permanente, Southern California. She is currently credentialed and administering anesthesia at Harbor UCLA Medical Center as well as surgical centers throughout Los Angeles County. She has also volunteered with HELPS international in Guatemala and is currently an active volunteer with Aloha Medical Missions serving Honduras, which has been her mission as a CRNA for the past six years.
Elina graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Asbury University in Kentucky, having emigrated from Russia a few years prior. She has worked as an administrator in health care for close to a decade, having been a medical assistant and patient access representative in the ER of the University of Kentucky hospital system. She comes to us from the famous Scripps Hospital in La Jolla, CA where she worked as a patient coordinator in 2019. Her desire to live in Los Angeles led her to a position with us, where she has been since the summer of 2020.
DMS, DCS, Venipuncture Certified
Vera has been in medical care for over 30 years, having attended medical school in her home country of Serbia. She has been touted by our patients as highly proficient. Prior to starting at the Ketamine Healing Clinic of L.A., Vera worked in IV Vitamin and Ozone therapy.
